<p>Imagine ending your day with a sigh of relief and satisfaction, that you did something productive today, and did not waste your precious time in any manner. Feels good right? Well, this is only achievable when you become more productive in your life. Becoming productive doesn’t happen on the spot. It takes passion, motivation, and competitiveness. However, it&#8217;s not that difficult when you know the right kind of tips and tricks on how to keep yourself productive throughout the day.</p>

<p><strong>1. Prepare a To-Do List</strong></p>



<p>Often at times, people fail in following to-do lists. The reason is simple, people make such complex to-do lists consisting of tasks that hard to do in a short period. Some tasks take lesser time, and some take too long. This imbalance between the division of tasks makes to-do lists a failure. To avoid this situation, prepare a to-do list keeping a balance in between required tasks. Accomplish those tasks, that are being pushed the next day and then the next and then the next… Turn off any unnecessary distractions around you for example phone calls, emails, social media, etc. Distractions cause people to never finish their to-do list on time.</p>



<p><strong>2. Manage Time Effectively </strong></p>



<p>Productivity can never occur if you don’t know how to manage your time. Some tasks don’t take much time while some do. The longer ones often force us to spend so much time on them that we become unable to finish others. To avoid this situation, we need to divide our tasks into smaller goals. Let’s say, for example, you are assigned a project. Divide it into smaller sections by understanding what to do first. What assets do you need? Who should guide you? <p><strong>3. Avoid Multitasking</strong></p>



<p>Multitasking can make the situation worse. Sometimes, you are focusing on two tasks at a time and what happens is that you mess up both. For this, it&#8217;s best to avoid multitasking. Multitasking not only drains your energy but gives you stress, disappointment, and burden, causing you to lose focus and be in a state of fear. Instead of multitasking, focus on one goal at a time. Once you finish one goal, then head towards another. Not only will you be able to save your energy that way, but you’ll also be able to finish a task effectively.</p>



<p><strong>4. Merge Similar tasks</strong></p>



<p>If there is one task like another, then instead of switching between them, just do them at once. This is unlike multitasking. I’ll give you an example. Let’s suppose you are requested to check emails and there is an email you need to respond to. Instead of responding to that email and then switching to another task, and coming back again to look for other emails just look at all emails at once.</p>

<p>Despite its popularity, many people tend to fail in following a To-Do list due to various reasons. Therefore, it’s important to first understand the dos and don’ts of making a To-do list for accomplishing your tasks..</p>



<p><strong>Do’s and Don’ts </strong></p>



<p>There are many do’s and don’ts of creating a To-do list. They remind you about the tasks required to be completed. Some are mentioned below:</p>

<p><strong>Make a Separate Long-Term and Short-Term To-Do List</strong></p>



<p>It’s very important to have a separate list of to-do items of both short- and long-term tasks. Some tasks require a lot of time to complete while others take very lesser time. A quick and smart approach would be to group smaller tasks in a separate list. That way, whenever you have some time up your sleeves during the long-term project you are doing, you’ll easily be able to complete the tasks that are quicker to do. <p>While preparing your To-Do list, make sure to merge similar tasks. Similar tasks can include checking and responding to all emails, checking, and responding to all voice notes, cooking along with cleaning the kitchen, etc. Tasks you find similar, if you do them together, you’ll be able to work more effectively and on time.</p>



<p>Make sure you make the To-Do list in the morning so that it works like a reminder for you for the whole day. At the end of the day, check your to-do list and see if all your tasks are done or not. This will help you understand how effective you were during the day.</p>

To avoid this situation, consider finishing long-term tasks first and then the smaller ones.</p>

<p>Sometimes, we put almost every single task we want to do on that one list. We become determined to do all those tasks in one day. This causes us to do multitasking which instead of helping, ruins the situation. This makes us stressed, exhausted, anxious and in the end, none of the tasks is successfully done. Instead, focus on one task at a time rather than multitasking.</p>

<p>Every year, millions of people around the globe generate new year resolutions to start their new year. The new year resolutions often contain goals, that either we didn’t achieve in the previous year, or are eager to attain in the next year.</p>

<p>New year resolution always consists of two emotions, “Hope and Fear.” The hope of fulfilling our desired goals, and fear of not being able to accomplish what we need. There are many reasons some resolutions fail. Some include facing the fear of rejection, laziness, lack of determination, or certain circumstances. According to the study conducted by “University of Scranton,” about 8% achieve their goals while about 80% or more tend to fail in accomplishing their goals. This is quite scary and must be taken into consideration.</p>



<p>Instead of being among the failures, why not try being among the remaining 8% of people who accomplish their goals and fulfill their new year resolutions. For this, we must have a clear idea of what we truly want to achieve.</p>



<p><strong>Ideas for 2021 </strong></p>



<p>Many ideas strike our minds when it comes to making new year resolutions. The most common ones include:</p>

<p>That time of the year, the time of developing new year resolutions is here. The time when your friends and family come up to you, to decide together what you truly want to achieve in the new year. Some people make a To-Do list, while others do it through a vision board.</p>



<p><strong>What is a Vision Board?</strong></p>



<p>A vision board is just like any other board but with pictures attached. It contains pictures, phrases, and goals of what you want to be, what do you want to achieve for the current year? What are the habits you want to leave? Etc. A vision board is like a reminder, that keeps reminding us of what we truly want to achieve in our life. It gives us meaning, and a purpose of fulfilling our dreams.</p>



<p>Imagine waking up from your bed and suddenly having your eyes on the vision board in your room. The writings, the pictures of your favorite people, the people that inspire you, the phrases that motivate you, and much more on that board will remind you of what you want to achieve at the start of your everyday. This will energize you in starting your day with an aim.</p>



<p>A vision board is like giving a visual meaning to the goals you want to achieve in your life. People cannot carry their to-do lists with them every day, so a vision board with all their goals on them can be of great help.</p>



<p><strong>How to Prepare A Vision Board?</strong></p>



<p>Preparing a vision board is not that hard. To prepare a vision board, you need:</p>



<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Brainstorming: </strong>Brainstorm all the ideas and goals you want to achieve and write them down on a paper.</li>



<li><strong>Prepare a Vision Board: </strong>Once you are set with your goals and ideas, start preparing a vision board by keeping in mind what phrases, pictures, motivational quotes, goals, and tasks you want to add to it.</li>



<li><strong>Search for Images: </strong>After you made a mindset regarding the vision board, start looking up pictures that inspire you, pictures with phrases that motivate you, and people with a lifestyle you want to achieve. You can also add pictures of what you want in life such as a house, a car, or a vacation, etc.</li>



<li><strong>Compile those images: </strong>Once you are done with your image search, compile them all together, and pick up the best ones to add to your vision board.</li>



<li><strong>Keep it Simple: </strong>The more pictures you add, the more complex your vision board will become. Therefore, keep it as simple as possible so it becomes easier for you to look at and understand.</li>



<li><strong>Display the vision Board: </strong>Now, after adding all the required pictures on your vision board, consider displaying it. You can display it as a wall frame in your room, as a door frame, or as a decorative item aside. Make sure to keep it in a place from where you can easily see it to get motivated every day.</li>

<p>Setting a goal is a powerful process that helps you think about the ideal life you always wanted for your future. The goals you make help you move forward towards achieving your dreams. Goals keep you motivated in such a way that you keep working hard until you make your vision become a reality.</p>



<p><strong>Why Should We Set Goals?</strong></p>



<p>Setting a goal helps you decide what and where you want to be in your life. People who do not set goals for themselves live an aimless and unsatisfied life. They get confused as they don&#8217;t know their purpose in life, what they want to do and where should they be?</p>



<p>We all are born with unique capabilities, talents, competitiveness, and are God gifted in many ways. However, when we live inside the box, not willing to face the outer world, not trying hard enough, we never find out how truly compatible we are. Of course, there would be many hurdles along the way as nothing is easy in this world. However, those who never give up on their dreams one day will finally succeed.</p>

<p>A goal is a pathway towards the destination, where you want to be. Many top-level athletes, business tycoons, celebrities, and highly specialized workers (doctors, engineers, scientists, etc.) become achievers due to setting goals.</p>



<p>Take Bill Gates for example, who was determined to developing a technology that could change the world. He faced a lot of issues and criticism at first but today, he is one of the ideal role models for the young generation. The technique is simple, your goals need to be sharp and clear. Confusing goals will never show you a clear path, therefore, make a decision that urges you to keep on working hard until you reach where you want to be.</p>



<p><strong>Steps to Consider for Setting Goals</strong></p>



<p>Goals should be set based on the following steps.</p>



<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>Create a “big picture” in your mind of what you want to be after the next ten years.</li>



<li>Once your vision, break it down into smaller goals (your missions). These will be the steps to reach one by one till your head towards your vision.</li>



<li>Once you decided on both long term (vision)and short-term goals (missions), you are ready to write them down in your notebook and start working on fulfilling them one by one.</li>
</ol>



<p>So first, you make a long-term goal, then divide it into parts and make small goals. Those goals you’ll achieve in a week or month. And that’s how you’ll do it.</p>

Goals do not have to be associated with pressure, it is the journey &amp; the effort, that is beautiful. And if we can inspire 1 person in that way, the app works.</p>

<p>We are a tiny team trying to make unique and genuine mobile apps to inspire people. And at first it was really challenging trying to find our own style &amp; voice and infuse it into whatever we create. But first, and most importantly we had 2 apps in mind that we felt we would love using, because we believe if it was going to help us, it would be useful to others.</p>



<p>The first is a vision board. Visualizing and goal setting is an underrated lifestyle or practice that is super beneficial to anyone with goals &amp; dreams. We thought let&#8217;s make it light, interesting, beautiful and exciting.</p>



<p>The second is a simple note taking, list making app. It also will include little elements that may be essential for people like doing simple accounts, making inspiration boards. And making it pretty was the best part.</p>

<p>The first thing we thought when we came up with Wondr note was, why can&#8217;t we be professional and pretty? Taking notes, making lists, doing basic accounts can feel mundane at times so why not spice it up with colors, pictures and more. With Wondr Note we wanted a notes app with a twist and we added a few little perks and features to make it all the more exciting.</p>



<p>We thought, &#8220;Hey what else could we want in an app like this?&#8221; Countdowns! Categories! Inspiration board! Awesome, now it felt more full. We wanted the user experience to feel like this: You open a notebook and it spews out all kinds of tech and tools in rainbow colors! Haha. And we will constantly keep trying to achieve that.</p>
