Wondr Note Privacy Policy

‘Wondr Note’, herein referred to as ‘the application’, strives to be an honest app that allows you to have complete control and responsibility for your own data. We like it that way for ourselves too. We believe in being transparent. We also only ask for and want you to input only the information that is absolutely necessary for your usage of Wondr Note mobile application.

In summary, the user of the application is the sole & only controller of all the data entered into the application. Storage, categorization and processing of any kind of any data entered into the application is done locally within and by the application only and not accessible by us or any other application in the device.

The application does NOT require, recommend or provide the option, to create or register an account. The application does NOT require, obtain or provide the option to enter or input the following types of data or any types related:

1. Names
2. Addresses
3. Email addresses
4. Identification numbers, information, documents
5. Date of birth
6. Credit card or personal financial information
7. Phone numbers
8. Device information

Your data, is stored only locally in your device’s internal storage app folder. We provide you with the option to backup their data in their Google drive account.

Advertising: In order to provide a free version of the mobile application, we display advertising. Advertisements are not shown based on any information or data you provide.

We do not have access to or store any of your data in our servers 

You & only you have the rights to the data stored and processed for the purpose of the functionalities & features in the application. As such, you may do the following:

1. Remove all your data by uninstalling the application
2. Export the data by backing up to your Google drive account
3. Export the data as a Document File
4. Export the data by backing up into any folder

As all the databases for your data have a basic encryption implemented, to read/modify and view the data, please export entries as a Document file.

We advise our users to backup their data regularly. They can choose to manually export the backup file and store it wherever they want to or optionally make Google Drive backups.

Google Drive Backups
Users can optionally backup their data using Google Drive. Their backups are stored in the user’s private Google Drive space. We use a secure connection to your Google Account and data is safely stored in a folder where we nor other apps have access.

The email and name permissions within are requested in order to display the account details only within the app to inform users about the account which is being used for the backups. The app does not keep or even store the email addresses and names within the app or app folder. The app asks Google Sign In for a connected account and displays the account info only when accessing the Google Drive Backup section.

The application provides features that enables you to add, view and store notes, lists, mood boards, countdowns and basic accounts. As such, the data entered for the above purpose is obtained and stored in the your device’s internal storage.

The application obtains, processes and stores (locally in your device) data only when the you input and submit the data for the purpose of any feature(s) used. The application does NOT collect any content you generate or submit into the application, Such as your name, surname, email, photos, or anything you type within the app. Your notes and data are private and fully under your control.

The application processes the data only locally within the your device and does not require the data to be used or processed by any third-party services.

Your data, is stored only locally in your device’s internal storage app folder that is not accessible by us. The application provides you with the option to backup your data in your chosen Google drive account. The application does NOT collect any content you generate or submit into the application, Such as your name, surname, email, photos, or anything you type within the app. Your notes and data are private and fully under your control.

All photos submitted into this application, is stored only locally in your device’s internal storage app folder.  The application provides you with the option to backup your data in your chosen Google drive account. If you choose to manually export a backup file, the photos are included in the exported backup file. We have no access to your photos.

We do add links to other applications we have published. However, those applications are shown by default and have no relation to your data. Additionally, this privacy policy does not apply to any other application.

We do not send any push notification for advertising or marketing purposes unless requested by you, for example, future features such as reminders, alarms etc.

We do not use your data for any of our marketing purposes internally or externally.

In order to provide a free version of the mobile application, we display advertising. Advertisements are not shown based on any information or data you provide. As we do not collect, store or have access to any of your data online or elsewhere except for your device’s internal storage and your Google drive account (for backup only), we do not provide any of our advertising partners with any data that you enter into the application.

The free version of the mobile application uses the following service to display advertising:

AdMob (AdMob Google Inc.)

Personal data collected by this service: Cookies, Google Advertiser ID

Using cookies, Admob identifies users and displays tailored ads according to users’ behaviors and interests. This may be done also using behavioral retargeting techniques including those detected outside this mobile application. For example, if you visited a vehicle related website, you may see ads that advertise cars etc.

We use AdMob to display ad banners and other advertisements possibly based on your interests. AdMob uses cookies to identify users and they may use the behavioral retargeting technique, i.e. displaying ads tailored to your interests and behavior, including those detected outside our app. For example, if you’ve previously visited e-shop selling shoes you might see more ads promoting shoes or shoe shops.

The mobile application does not collect or use any of the data without your consent. In the future, only with your consent, we may collect anonymous data based on your usage of the mobile application and interaction with the content we provide:

• We collect content interaction, content usage, content likes and content types that have been selected anonymously to better understand favorable content by our users in order to provide more of such content
• We use the following third-party services for the mobile application:

Google Analytics/Firebase Analytics

• Collection and analysis of usage data to improve the user experience of the mobile application
• Collection of personal data like anonymized IP addresses, unique device identifiers, cookies & usage data
• Your data will be retained for a maximum period of: 14 months

Firebase Crash Reporting

• Collection of Instance IDs, Crash traces for identification and reporting of crashes to understand errors so that we may improve our app and fix unforeseen bugs in accordance to various devices.
• This service helps us to identify crashes and errors in our app. It helps us to improve the reliability and stability of our iOS app.
• No personal data are collected
• Data collected: Crashlytics Installation UUIDs, crash traces, device models, geography, operating systems
• Data retention: 90 days

To ensure the safety, privacy and security of your information. We recommend that you do not store any private, secret or personally identifiable data in this mobile application including but not limited to, passwords, name, email addresses, location information, credit card details or important financial information.

It is your sole responsibility to keep your device safe and make regular backups on Google Drive & locally as well as Document file backups locally. By using the application you agree that the application, it’s developers or any related parties are not liable for loss, modification and theft of your data that is stored locally in your device.

All your data will be removed from your device upon uninstalling the application.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace this Policy at any time. Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page. You should check this page from time to time and take note of any changes.
